Has anybody else had problems using the Capital One mobile app? I have a Samsung S21 Ultra 5G that I thoroughly degoogled and de-Samsung'd over a year ago. No problems running any other apps including Key Bank, Charles Schwab, Tile, etc. but Capital One will not even load to the login screen. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

you can try looking it up on plexus to see if others have had success using that app

According to Plexus nonody else has any problems, which doesn't seem accurate.

yeah that seems to be from all the way in 2021 unfortunately. you may be stuck with the browser version :(

Has not worked for me in ages on Graphene. Same issue. It quits right away. Even tried messing with the hardened malloc and it was no go. Been a pain trying to use Zelle or deposit checks. Other than a handful of core apps I just use the web mostly at this point.

This doesn't address the app itself, have you tried using a browser like Native Alpha which can make a web page function like an app?

I know it's not the same as an app, but I find it often works well enough for me. Plus you get the benefit of not having any of the app's nonsense, like all the broadcast receivers they'll register for (screen on, so the damn thing runs all the time), or how such apps like to track things.

The only reason I even want the app is to use it for 2FA when logging in online instead of SMS lol

Hahahaha, so we're gonna Inception this then? Use two browser windows? 😆

Ffs, sms as 2FA is some dumb shit. For a bank no less. 🤦🏼‍♂️
