Was the result of the Hungarian party higher than expected? How did they get 500k votes in the EU election, but 300k in the local? Do some Romanians vote for the Hungarian party as a kind of protest?

@infeeeee curious, indeed. I think people voted for other smaller hungarian parties as well (or independent people), but these were probably not running for the EU Parliament.

Edit: in Bucharest some people voted for the incumbent mayor for a new term, as well as for the PSD-PNL alliance at the local council and/or the city hall of each sector - both opposing each other politically (๐Ÿคฏ). Given this situation, I wouldn't be surprised to see a similar situation for these circumscriptions as well, but with UDMR at the EU parliament. People are just weird.
