Impressive woman! 28 years old and minister of climate, actually 26 when she became minister in 2022.
She's actually quite controversial. She campaigned on fighting climate change and now she's a lame duck minister in a far-right cabinet dismantling Sweden's climate policies.
This is one victory she got I guess, but theres tons of nature protections and carbon taxes being dismantled right now.
Oh that's a shame:( Her wikipedia page didn't mention that
Apparently they lied about this whole proposal altogether now. The green party in opposition and various climate lobby groups are complaining that the proposal that the far-right government are presenting doesn't actually ban bottom fishing at all.
Horrible liar and turncoat. Minister for a government with far-right policies when she promissed to be the one voice of her party against that. She abandoned liberalism in favour of the far right for a prestigious position and money. So did the rest of her party, to be fair, but before the election she claimed to be against it.
I really hope Denmark does the same
Apparently The far-right government already walked back this proposal, only saying that they "should", but refusing to actually implement it.
