"nazi" lost its meaning mah dude. It's so overused, it means nothing anymore, thanks to people like you. It's a typical boy cry wolf story, literally a meme now:
You disagree with body positivity movement? Nazi. You think 3 yo cannot decided their genders? Nazi. You think criticizing a "minority" religious practices is okay? Believe or not, Nazi.

Nothing that I say will change your mind, I'm posting mainly to signal to others, that a non retarded opinion still exist on the federated reddit.

Just for the record I reported this for being misinformation. The AFD is a party full of Nazis, an example: https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/may/14/german-court-fines-afd-bjorn-hocke-using-banned-nazi-phrase

It was also ruled by a German court that it is legal to call that same convicted guy a nazi. This is the same party who held a conference in Potsdam close to Wannsee to deport people deemed not „German“ enough to Africa. Maybe the location and topic ring a bell to those familiar with Nazi history.

For those who are not: The Wannsee-Konferenz during the nazi time was considered the beginning of the holocaust where the Nazis discussed the „final solution of the Jew-question“. Members of AFD, CDU and other small movements, as well as some wealthy private persons have met at a similar place to discuss a similar topic very recently.

There’s nothing to argue about here and looking at the post history of this user they seem to be spreading nazi apologist content.

At the campaign event in the state of Saxony-Anhalt in May 2021, Mr Höcke ended a speech by saying: "Everything for our homeland, everything for Saxony-Anhalt, everything for Germany!"

Prosecutors say he knew the phrase was banned for being associated with the Nazi Sturmabteilung (SA). But he said it was a "common saying" which should not be criminalised.

From your own article btw. You think that is a statement that merits being called Nazi? It is really odd the state of political extremes. Like I can get behind banning actual policies that limits freedoms, but this is just, for the lack of better term, retarded. Report as misinformation as you will, I don't care, I've been calling since 2014 about the rise of anti-migrant sentiments due to the lack of policies that enforces integrations and lead to religious extremism and societal distrust, and r/Europe redditors always piled on my opinions being "extreme". Fast forward 10 years, Brexit was on, Trump is preparing a come back, and EU is facing a right wing revival. The funny thing is, I'm not even a "right wing" supporter, but at least some of their policies align with my expectation of common sense, I'm a migrant myself, who's tired of the lack of policies from the EU to enforce the safety and security for its citizens and residents.

One of their members of parliament shares memes showing wehrmachts soldiers at a machine gun with the caption "the fastest German asylum process can handle 1400 requests per minute" A party official who speaks of disposing members of parliament with Turkish origin Above mentioned Höcke, who calls the memorial for Jewish victims in Berlin a mark of shame for Germany

Who to call Nazi if not people who glorify Nazis and speak like Nazis? You are making a fool of yourself if you defend these people

Not quite, at least according to the article, I guess— although it does depend on what form the confrontation took.

The candidate was attacked after confronting an individual who was trying to remove an election poster on Tuesday, officials said. The perpetrator injured the man with a carpet knife.

I saw the video, the AfD guy just went after the guy who took down the posters and the guy proceeded to stab him. You guys are unhinged to see that and say "it's his fault for doing that". Imagine if the roles were reversed and it was another party. Anyway, getting butthurt because afd is winning won't get you anywhere.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you don't have to feel the same way about everyone. You can have different opinions about a fascist punching a lesbian and a lesbian punching a fascist.

A lot of snippy comments go 'well how would you feel if it was different?' I might feel different. Do you think that's a contradiction?

Even if this was genuine, it’s playing way too nicely in the AfD’s favor who is notorious for being a neo-nazi party in Germany. It sounds too much like something NSDAP would have done as well.
