While I'm a big fan of NaCl, there are plenty of other great salts out there.
CaCl is better for de-iceing my driveway.
Sodium hydroxide is great for cleaning my clothes.
Sodium carbonate is best for making my hard water softer.
That's just a few of the great salts!
