Can we get F-Droid links for those that have them?

[–] rist097@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Good idea, I added Fdroid link for those I could find

Arctic for iOS could be added to the list !arctic@lemmy.world

[–] Redjard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Could you add an (Announced) or similar to boost?

[–] rist097@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Done, thanks!

[–] steve228uk@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

I've just announced my upcoming iOS and Android app, Bean and wrote a post about it here https://lemmy.world/post/925265

[–] fer0n@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

You can add Voyager to the list of native iOS clients (also new icon): https://testflight.apple.com/join/nWLw1MBM

[–] aquarisces@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Don’t know if they would ever see this but if the developer for the Calipso app for Squabblr wanted to port or build an app for Lemmy I would be in full support! The app was what made Squabblr worth interacting with for me. Once I saw he deleted his account and removed the app from the App Store I deleted my Squabblr account too.

Been using Memmy on iOS for about 36 hours. Great so far and a dev team that doesn’t sleep apparently lol. Updates daily by the looks of it.

[–] delirium@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Fennec's dev here: changed name for Fennec to Arctius to stop the confusion.

!arctius@lemmy.world

[–] rist097@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Lemmynade has a new icon:

Also, the current focus is the desktop site and touch-friendly web app. iOS and Android releases are a lower priority for now so it might best to remove it from those lists until announced

[–] spez@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 year ago

Might wanna add infinity since it's released

[–] WhoRoger@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Looks like Lemmynade is a web app rather than an Android client?

[–] silas@programming.dev 2 points 11 months ago

Yep, that’s correct, it’s a touch-friendly installable web app. It’s still in the plans to have app store releases, but we’re quite some time out from that and it’s not a priority at the moment.

[–] wit@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

This post needs an update. Many of these apps are no longer functioning and some changed names/links..

[–] otter@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Looks like the OP may be inactive, they haven't posted in 2 months. I think the community might need a new mod. @ruud@lemmy.world @lwadmin@lemmy.world

[–] mizu6079@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Will these posts be updated when sync, boost, etc. are released?

[–] rist097@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Yes of course. Its continously updated

[–] theshatterstone54@feddit.uk 3 points 1 year ago

Just tried Beyond, and have currently switched to Infinity from Liftoff. Beyond is in a very early stage, Infinity seems pretty good, especially considering it is also very new. Liftoff is very stable, but I'm not sure if I would stick with it, now that Infinity is a thing.

[–] evgiz@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago

Hi, Avelon is now on the AppStore!

App Store link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/avelon-for-lemmy/id6450952178

Also there's a new app icon too:

[–] FrostySpectacles@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Lemminator is a web UI that aims to make Lemmy more approachable for a broad non-technical audience. It can be hosted by Lemmy instance owners, and Lemmy.world users can use https://lemminator.netlify.app/.

[–] efraimbart@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Infinity and Dawn for Everything are available in early alpha.

[–] mykl@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

You can add Liftoff! under macOS too. We’ve not done any work specifically to make it a first class Mac app, but it installs and runs perfectly using TestFlight for Mac.

Edit: sorry just realised that this is the original post reformatted. Looks really good, great work!

[–] athlon@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago

Glad to see Leomard on the list :D

[–] Xylight@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

(alt since Xylight@lemmy.xylight.dev has not federated this community yet)

dev of Photon here, how tf did it get here? i don't think i've ever posted a link, where the heck did it come from

[–] rist097@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children)

I do a search on github from time to time and add projects that have a build ready. Great work!

[–] Xylight@lemmy.xylight.dev 2 points 1 year ago

Interesting. Well, pleased to be part of this list!

[–] Xylight@lemmy.xylight.dev 2 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Can I have the community for Photon added too?

Liftoff doesn't seem to be a macOS client, though?

[–] rist097@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Well there are instructions for IOS on github. But I know nothing about IOS to verify

Jerboa user checking in. It's still a little rough here and there, but overall quite usable. Defintly a promising app.

Sync For Lemmy on Android is in "pre-registration", i.e. it will automatically install when it becomes available.

!lemmy.world/c/syncforlemmy

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: !syncforlemmy@lemmy.world

Happy Halloween! I made a (spooky) web app for Lemmy at called Phantom.

Check it out at lemmyphantom.com!

This is currently a reader app (no login functionality) but I would love any feedback from the community!

Some features include:

  • Dark/Light Mode
  • Various formats (card, narrow, masonry)
  • Themes
  • Accessibility (dyslexia font)
  • NSFW controls (blur, filter)
  • Privacy focused (not even Google Analytics)

Edit: Many more features now added since writing this comment (including authentication)
