What does preload mean? We don't know yet.

The preload is referring to a message screen that will pop up before loading reddit.

Yeah this is the bothersome part. I deleted my Reddit account awhile ago. Love Sync but I guess I'll have to wait for it.
This release is going to feel like Xmas in July! I'm so excited for this to be released, bugs and all, because I know how amazing it's going to be!
Is this a new warning? Only ever used Reddit apps & sometimes browser, never seen this
It's been a thing for some time now. From what I understand, Reddit flags certain keywords in subreddit names that they don't like (such as "lemmy"). Flagged subreddits are blocked in mobile browsers, which is their way of steering casual users away from content they don't want getting extra attention.
They seem to be putting it on anything Lemmy at the moment. Not sure how new it is.
Just uBlock Origin Lightning Bolt that thing and read the page.
