Finland views Ukrainian strikes on oil refineries and military targets inside Russia as legally justified, Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen told The Moscow Times on the sidelines of a NATO foreign ministers meeting.

Ukrainian drone strikes on Tuesday targeted an oil refinery and a drone assembly plant in the republic of Tatarstan, the farthest-reaching strikes inside Russia since Moscow invaded Ukraine over two years ago.

“The UN Charter allows a country, while it defends its independence, to attack targets which are military. So I would just leave it like that,” Valtonen told The Moscow Times on Wednesday.

Imagine a world that would expect Ukraine, who had war declared against it, to only fight defensively on its own soil. The fucking fuk?

Idgaf if Ukraine MOABs the Kremlin or uses Magic to make everyone forget the Tetris theme song, Russia can end the war today by turning their asses around and going home.

I'd slap a reporter asking me such a stupid question. That's like saying to a girl with 2 black eyes, "ah, so ya didn't listen did ya?". How do the reporter speak with Putins cock so far down their throat?

It's people sitting at home 3000+km away sipping their caramel macchiato snuggied up on their plush sofa with zero clue that the only way to win a war is to convince your opponents the cost of conceding is less than the net cost of continuing. Letting your opponent attack you on your territory without reciprocating in kind is ~~allowing~~ encouraging them to continue.

I agree with you on all fronts, but I especially appreciate the idea that Ukraine, if it could wield magic against Russia, would do so in extremely petty ways. (I’m a bit of a sucker for fantastical scenarios.)

That’s exactly what we expected.

Here’s a bunch of guns and ammo, but no taking the war home to the aggressors.

As long as they were only operating in Ukraine they never had a chance.

Start bring down targets in Moscow and see how quick enthusiasm wears out
