Is this real? And if so....what is it?

hmm. I THOUGHT it was a flying fortress but now that I google this part of one is a tad different? It's been around a long time, I know that. Ive seen this pic more then a few times in the past. Just came up on another group for me and thought id bring it over here...

I'm dumb...I just googled what a flying fortress was. I thought it was like a steampunk dirigible lol

hahaha its fine I guess that isn't a super common knowledge name. But still at the same time if you look it up this isn't it. the flying fortress gunner seat doesn't have all that shit on the left and it has windows on both sides.

I'm dying to know what it is because it looks straight out of a sci-fi movie

It’s the navigator’s station for a Tu-104, an early Soviet jet-powered passenger plane. Fun fact: that little window in the ceiling is so that the navigator can use the stars to figure out where they are if the instruments failed.

If you go to wiki you can see a photo of a 104. You can see the glass and the star port. Very cool

It also looks a little spacious for an aircraft of that age.

Very cool space whatever it may be!
