What’s with the commentary? I don’t think Zelensky is throwing away the lives of his people. The Ukrainians are fighting for survival. If anyone is throwing away lives, it’s definitely the Russians.

I'm afraid you misunderstood my words. And that's okay.
I hope the article is informative.
How trustworthy are these numbers?
Almost certainly more reliable than what Russia says
Do not trust numbers of any side in any war
As trustworthy as any.
Probably more. Probably less.
Either way, swaths of death here and everywhere.
Estimates on Russian troops lie between the US with 315,000 and Ukraine with 410,000+ with the UK verifying Ukraine's as very close to their numbers.
Russia said they've lost 6,000 while one of their news outlets said 75,000.
No matter the case, Russia is likely losing troops at a ratio of 8:1 or more with an estimated 120 a day currently.
I wonder how many of them (for both sides) were involuntarily recruited.
From what I've read, Ukrainians have largely volunteered. However, the gov started legislation for a draft so they can alleviate soldiers. Not sure what's come of it though.
I doubt that number will be significant for Ukraine. Those that really did not want to fight, found ways out of the country...(except some very public cases)
War is hell
Truly. 💜
