I've been playing Superfrog and Captain Planet and I was wondering what platofmers people recommend? Is there anything like Duke Nukem or Keen on the Amiga?

I used to love playing Fury of The Furies as a kid. Not played since. Other ones I liked were Another World. Flashback. Turrican 2 (perhaps the best platform action game ever). New Zealand Story. Zool 2. James Pond 2.

Giving that a try now!

Thanks for the recommendations. I've done New Zealand Story before, that was good fun. Ditto Another World. James Pond 2 I think I oughta give another whirl. Cheers

Turrican II is the one I remember most fondly (especially how you could upgrade your gun to fire plasma(?) bolts bigger than you), but James Pond 2 was great as well.

Nebulous was alway a challenge

It was so heartbreaking to fall down at certain places and drop half the tower.

Is the Amiga version completeable?

Why else would you be recommending this on an Amiga Community?

Ah sorry. c/lostrexxitors

@Twig tough choice! I'd say Lionheart is the most technically impressive while I really enjoyed Leander and Wolfchild the most back then (aside from the obvious robocod, superfrog etc). Do Another World and Flashback count as platformers?
