They're one of those bands where I love the few songs I've heard, but have never gone out of my way to check out their catalogue. What album should I listen to?

To be honest their 2007 Retrospectacle "Greatest Hits" collection is a really nice entrypoint. They are a band who were around for a little while and their sound changed. The first disk is their older stuff which has a softer jazzier balladic feel and the 2nd disk is more pop-rock/yacht-rock and is where you'll find The Logical Song and some other classics like Breakfast in America, Long Way Home and Goodbye Stranger.

Absolutely adore Breakfast in America it is a pity various disputes have kept a lot of the album from being available on various streamers, so I rely quite heavily on the cassette copy I picked up on a whim.

Losing songs from Spotify playlists is one of things that prompted me to start up my Plex server. The old CDs still come in handy!

Breakfast In America is a great album, one I keep coming back to over the years.

My dad gave me the vinyl he got in the 80s, it is definitely heavy in my rotation. Such a great album front to back.
