I can't wait, I am on standalone solar between two hills. At the moment my panels are getting about 3 hours direct sunlight per day, not good for the batteries or my wallet as I am having to run the genny each day. (Doesnt help that it has been rainy/overcast for the past 6 days)

Hopefully tomorrow is a new day as I have just increased my PV array by 100% today. Fingers crossed.

Nice, where are you? I bought a place in regional Tas a few years ago, and after growing up there my only real criteria was “not in the winter shadow of a mountain halfway across the state”. Which is kinda hard.

At the end of a dirt road on the southern part of great dividing range, 80km from the nearest town. It is paradise, but for a month every year the sun is a bit lacklustre. Tassie is nice, been only once but fond memories of the place, admittedly that was 45yrs ago.

Happy birthday to me then (literally).

Haha. I lived in the UK for a few years, and it was so nice to have my birthday in the middle of summer for a while (well…for what goes as summer over there).

"And the child shall be born on the winter solstice.

They shall be named landsharkkidd"

I smell an epic trilogy coming on....
