Looking for some noise cancelling ear buds to keep in my car for public places. The more noise cancelling, the better. I would like to avoid any full eat-covering eatphones.

I've been using Elgin Rebels for work (noisy factory) as they're OSHA approved. Battery life is good and the actual "ear plugs" are pretty comfy.

I've had good luck with Pixel Buds Pro.

Resurrecting this thread because I spent many hours on research for this:

I ended up getting Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3's. They have decent noise cancellation, good fit via included interchangeable parts, very good sound quality, modern Bluetooth, a good app, and have decent battery life.

If noise cancellation is most important to you, there are options offered by Bose and Sony reported to have better quality in this one aspect at the cost of other aspects.

I bought these and they have really improved my life! For real! Whenever I start getting overwhelmed, I put these on, the song of the moment, and tune out the world. They are amazing! Thanks for the recommendation.

I've recently tried the soundcore liberty 4 and they are great for the price and if you like stem style buds, but I ended up returning them for the previous model L3 pros for the better fit. Everything else is the same if you end up looking into those two soundcore products.

I'm considering either the Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro, or Space A40 currently. From what I hear they should be the best bang for the buck ANC earbuds currently.

I would advise you to thoroughly check which earbuds feel comfy enough for long stretches of time. The best noise cancelling is useless if it comes with itching and burning :(

I have some PixelBuds as they came with my phone - but I'm very sensitive with my inner ear and can't wear most buds for a longer time. I can endure ear-covering headphones for much longer - but those get to warm in the summer and everyone can see them, so there are definitely drawbacks to this type.

I bought mine for sound quality first, noise cancelation second, but really happy with Sennheiser TW2!

I like my AirPods Pro. They stay in my ears better than others.

Yeah I have the APP2. Noise canceling is very good, but I feel like they don’t stay in my ears. My pixel buds never came out, but the APP2 regularly do.

+1 for the Apple AirPods Pro 2, they’re small, comfortable and work very well. I also have a pair of Loop Engage Plus earplugs for when you want to lower the noise but still need to hear people talk. I also use them a movie theatres.

If you're simply looking for best noise cancelling Bose is your best bet.

Sony is up there too. Apple close second. They do have better passthrough tho.

Genuinely go for any, ive not found any to be better than any others

To be clear you're looking for earbuds, not earplugs, right?

[–] BackOnMyBS@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

correct, I am looking for earbuds only. no to earplugs.
