Level 70 Bone Spirit Necro on WT4. I cannot get enough crit chance %. I am willing to do unspeakable things for crit chance %.

As a necromancer I am pretty sure you have already done unspeakable things.
I'm on the same boat except I'm WT4 lvl 57. I can't seem to find crit chance on anything useful. Still using some min lvl 30~40 items because they have the best synergies...
Still wt1, playing through the story. Act 3 done, just need to clear up a few side quests, lvl 45ish bow rogue.
I just pick the skills that seem to work best after unlocking each new tier and now I’m filling in some passives that seem to support what I’m doing.
Haven’t unlocked lots of aspects nor could I afford to imbue them on new gear, I mostly don’t even bother with gems for now.
I don’t know yet when it is going to stop with story and levelling and turn into a grind for gear acquisition, I’ll try it out but if it doesn’t really click for me I might just pick another class to level.
I never really bothered with “botting” hundreds or thousands of Baal/Pindle/council runs in D2, so who knows.
WT4 Arc Lash Sorc, I make things explode so much and I don't have to worry about staying at range because my Basic is melee anyway. The amount of cc is high so I stack damage against cced targets and go for execute change to trigger the Fireball passive and watch packs of mobs just erupt into a series of explosions. It's so satisfying. I was going Pyro because I liked the big snake Ultimate visual, but I got over it when I saw the damage I was putting out.
100 WW Barb. Feels good vs elites, but if you're trying to kill a pack of white mobs the down time on shouts and lower fury generation is pretty rough. Increased health minions = skip.
I'm currently level 54 on a sorcerer, in WT3 - I'm currently using a Frost Nova build and am definitely having some issues. I can get a decent amount of enemies cleared when Frost Nova is up, but when that is on cooldown I suffer tremendously. I'm also using Ice Shards with the aspect that gives you additional damage when a barrier is up (running Ice Armor + Flame Shield) and that helps a little bit, but I've gotta say it doesn't really feel all that great.
However, I'm fairly new to ARPGs in general - I'd just started getting the hang of D3 (I played as Wizard for my first season, and then fell in love with Monk)... So in general I think I just have a lot of learning to do.
Make sure you have the thing that gives a chance to reset defensive skills when you’re hit.
Frost nova is a defensive skill technically. Short circuiting the cooldown is hugely helpful.
Only level 65 rogue, but man, rapid fire destroys once it comes online, AoE can still be kinda rough if I go full brainless, but I can still easily wreck house in nightmare 24 maps(highest I've tried so far), even the bosses just melt.
Homie and I just started WT3 yesterday and have been having a blast. LVL51 Druid Pulverize build. My solo toon is Necro, but he's still leving at 35
Pulverize looks so cool. May be the first time in any game I have wanted to try a druid.
Lvl 48 Druid, WT1 Haven’t had a lot of time to play, pretty much just finished the campaign.
Having a hard time letting go of the leggo combo that I’m using. One leggo gives me 6 landslides when using trample and another leggo that makes each landslide hit twice.
Takes a bit of time to learn to position right, but really a really fun combo.
lvl 48 druid on HC and WT1. Playing like a funky Shred build with Maul as basic skill to utilize both Bear and Werewolf buffs in the skill tree. Working decently but we will see in WT3 if it works or not.
I unlocked WT4 last night on my rogue (twisting blades, but with shadow imbue.) Want to play more on WT4 but the mobs absolutely slap. I don’t like the trap twisting blades build but I guess I’ll stockpile gear for it if CC is the only way I can live.
I'm on WT4, level 76. Playing Whirlwind Barbarian and loving it. I never got a chance to play it pre-nerfs but honestly, I'm still so strong. I'm starting to farm Nightmare 35+ to level my glyphs and hunting ever-elusive uniques to strengthen my build out further.
Wait. Nerfs? When were those?
There's been like three rounds of nerfs. Bold Chieftain's aspect was nerfed and basically removed 100% uptime on shouts. Dire Whirlwind damage numbers were nerfed. Gohr's Devastating Grips (unique gloves) were nerfed big time. They disabled two aspects but there were re-enabled today. There's probably a few more that I'm missing, but like I said, I still feel so strong so the nerfs were more than warranted I'd say.
Thanks. I’ve not been paying attention and it’s seemed like my WW Barb has been getting worse (less good?) over time. Sounds like I need to recheck my build.
WT2 still after finally beating the campaign. Currently trying to find all of the Lilith Alrars before I try and make the jump to WT3. Using the Necro is fun when it works but I’ve definitely felt it to start getting weaker as I level up. Might try Poison Trap Rogue since that’s what I played in the beta.
I tried doing the altars but it's such a grind. If you start getting burned out just use a map.
How do you do it without a map? Just search blindly everywhere?
If you opened up the in-game map and just went into every crevice you'd find them all since they're not really hidden. It would just take hours.
Seems like an incredible waste of time to not look up the locations. The Altars are such a chore. I'm still gathering them and it feels utterly terrible, but at the same time I feel "forced" to do it because I play HC and prob need all the stats..
About to run WT2 capstone. Started as spark/CB/LS. Underestimated how important vulnerable was. Switched to arc lash chain lightning. Dropped a bunch of shatter and deep freeze legendary and switched to ice shards around 42, and it’s been a breeze since.
Still in WT2 here. I haven’t finished the main campaign. I don’t have tons of time to play during the week unfortunately, plus I started as a Necromancer first and was feeling weak around level 45 so I switched to a Rogue, which I played during beta and loved. I still love it now. At level 53 with the Rogue and playing a Poison/Death Trap - Flurry build. I melt most enemies and constantly have Death Trap up.
I tend to like DoT builds, so was really interested in a poison rogue. Ended up going barb because I watched Conan the Barbarian too many times back in the day.
Can you hear the lamentations of their women?
The lamentations of Lilith are the best part.
