We welcome constructive criticism, but ask that it be both precise and polite.

FAQ

When will insert feature here be implemented?
- Check our issue board--if there isn't an issue open for the feature you want, feel free to open an issue or make post! Just remember that devs are people too--we're doing this for free in our spare time, and building a quality app takes a lot of patient work.
Is Mlem available for Android?
- No. Mlem is written using SwiftUI, which is not currently supported on Android. If such support becomes available, we will look into bringing Mlem to our Android friends.
How do I join the beta?
- We are currently testing our new 2.0 codebase on TestFlight. We have two beta groups: a weekly group that receives the current state of our development branch every week, and a stable group that receives a curated pre-release build at the end of each development cycle.

Download the TestFlight beta for iOS 16+

This update is big, and there's more coming later! This update includes these additions

New icon by the amazing clay! Stay tuned for more icons, including Pride! In the future, you will be able to choose between lots of icons, and submit your own

And these fixes:

A whole bunch of crashes related to loading communities
Some posts showing multiple times in the feed
(Hopefully) accounts being deleted between app launches. If this still happens, please either tag me here or add your comment to this issue: https://github.com/buresdv/Mlem/issues/74
A few issues logging in, namely when the server address included a capital letter, "http://", "https://" and others

Any ideas about when this app will be available for the general public on the Apple App Store? I'm hoping to be among the first to download it once it becomes available on the app store like other regular apps :)

I love this app. Recently starting this morning it’s been crashing frequently a minute or so after I start scrolling my feed on Lemmy.ml. Not sure if it’s related to Lemmy.ml being overloaded or an app bug.

You have a jailbroken iPhone or something? If not you should upgrade just for the security and bug fixes. It’s more important than ever due to how much personal and financial data that’s on your phone.

While that is true, remember not everyone has a recent phone. MisakiMe could just have one that didn’t get the upgrade iOS16. In that case he/she/x will still receive security updates but just no iOS bumps.

I've been using the app for the past couple of days, and I think you are off to a great start. Thanks so much for offering it! It actually makes me want to use Lemmy more.

Is there a best place to submit feature requests? Matrix? One thing that I'd love to see from third-party Reddit apps like Apollo, Slide, and Narwhal is Haptic Touch previews (link previews, post previews, see the parent comment, etc).
