I have been here for a few weeks. The state of the communities then and now is like black and white. Huge growth. That is excellent news.
The thing is it is a complicated setup. I can't, for some reason, find some communities in search from others. And I consider myself tech savvy. That is a barrier for new users to overcome and it might be too much.
Same. While i have had this account for over a year i am just now really diving into it. I have been a mastodon user for years but just never had a reason to come and really kick the tires on lemmy
Same experience here. I created this account a while back and would check in every so often. But it looks like it's happening for real now!
