Try cancelling the follow request and make a new one.

Also, as a mod, how can I see who are the subscribers to the community?
You can query your DB with something like:
$ docker exec -it lemmystudio_postgres_1 bash
# psql -U lemmy lemmy
lemmy=# SELECT person.actor_id, community.actor_id
FROM community_follower
JOIN person ON person_id = person.id
JOIN community ON community_id = community.id
ORDER BY person.actor_id;
This gives you the users and communities they're subscribed to.
