Looks like someone is more afraid of the people who gave him the money than facing jail. In either case he could also just be lying and would likely give them up if he ever had to go to jail.
Santos, lying? Surely not!
If Santos ever makes a statement saying that he is a serial liar, the universe might implode from the paradox.
