Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

A photo of Trump emerging from Trump Tower, heading towards his E. Jean Carroll defamation trial, has sparked speculation over mysterious wounds appearing on Trump's hand. The photo was flagged by Drudge Report who flagged the red marks as "mystery cuts on his fingers." Drudge Report linked to Daily Mail which published the photos in their article.

Fingernail cuts from clenching his fists too tightly in the courtroom. ;)

Good guess.

I'll float some possible ideas:

  • I'm totally strong enough to unstick my wet hand from this freezing metal railing (noone had warm water but rumour has it there's another tape he doesn't want coming out now)

  • If I wear gloves I'll appear weak. Suffers frostbite. Has no idea because he has peripheral neuropathy from dementia from the sugar diabetes.

  • Real theory? He heard Hitler and the boys didn't bother with British Sudafed. They went all in on crystal meth. They say fascism burns itself out but a little amphetamine really keeps the magic alive. Yes, Trump spent a lot of time scratching one hand with the other over and over. A lifetime of narcissism keeps him from scratching his face, but for how long!

Frostbite doesn't look like that, generally. it starts as a general redness in the skin, by the time it's causing wheals or lesions or whatever, they're basically all over (especially fingertips and knuckles.) Also:

I'm not a doctor, I was just goofing around.

Trump has secondary syphilis, pass it on.

I've seen it confirmed by two reliable sources right here.

[–] Municipal0379@lemmy.world 14 points 9 months ago

BIG IF TRUE!! lol

[–] Nusm@lemmy.zip 3 points 9 months ago

A man came up to him, a Marine, with tears in his eyes, who said, “Sir, I’ve never cried in my whole life until now, but I’ve never seen anyone with such good syphilis as you. You’re an inspiration to everyone I know to get syphilis. Thank you.”

[–] ivanafterall@kbin.social 14 points 9 months ago

Trump would never settle for secondary syphilis. He has only the best and strongest syphilis, folks. You wouldn't believe how contagious this stuff is. It's unbelievable.

[–] ech@lemm.ee 8 points 9 months ago

syphilis

pass it on

Please don't.

[–] gnate@lemmy.world 6 points 9 months ago

I'll see your secondary, and raise it to tertiary.

[–] CADmonkey@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

You know... in the past, big ridiculous wigs were used by people suffering from syphilis. Does anyone know if trump has a ridiculous wig?

[–] ThanksObama@sh.itjust.works 15 points 9 months ago

It's just ketchup leftover from throwing his plate of fries on the floor to spite the judge.

[–] Whirlgirl9@kbin.social 14 points 9 months ago

Blisters and peeling skin are signs of Adderall abuse...

[–] Paragone@lemmy.world 12 points 9 months ago (3 children)

Did he sign any agreement .. in his blood .. recently?

I'm not being sarcastic.

Sometimes people DO reach-out for demon-help, for demon power...

Depends on the person, right?

and how desparate they are, for associating with power over others...

"be careful what you ask for: you may be granted it."

Would be pretty neat if it worked that way. I can do an eternity in hell if I can give every billionaire on earth an aneurism right now

[–] pootzapie@kbin.social 4 points 9 months ago

Bless your heart! <3

The Hero we need.

[–] Etterra@lemmy.world 2 points 9 months ago

No demon would make that deal. If hell is real, he's already got an express ticket.

[–] WhimsicalSofa@lemmynsfw.com 1 points 9 months ago

If you’re not joking, you’re delusional.

Doesn't seem like a big deal.. Just like his hands. Heyohhhh

Or maybe he was eating cherry pudding.. DeSantis style.

[–] PugJesus@kbin.social 8 points 9 months ago

As amusing as it would be if it's true, gonna have to put me down as a 'doubt' unless more solid evidence comes out.

[–] Yewb@kbin.social 7 points 9 months ago

Dude thats not a cut it looks like a case of the hand herpies.

[–] iamjackflack@lemm.ee 6 points 9 months ago (2 children)

I hate the guy like everyone else but really? Looks like red sharpie…

[–] flipht@kbin.social 3 points 9 months ago

It looks like red sharpie from the thumbnail, but when I looked at the full picture it's pretty clearly red splotches along the side of his index finger too, and that part does not look at all like sharpie.

[–] TheJims@lemmy.world 3 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Is he a first grader? Was he eating paste in the court too? Maybe they should take away the sharp scissors before he hurts himself.

[–] Etterra@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

No, I'm pretty sure most first graders behave much better.

[–] ikidd@lemmy.world 5 points 9 months ago

Looks like a paper cut on the inside of the knuckle, and there's a spot of blood where it was touching his palm when he closed his hands.

What a nothingburger. Let me know when he cuts his own throat so I can go piss on his grave.
