I love how the liberals always cite digital goods and also all manners of digital scam as a proof marxism is obsolete "Marx did not predicted digital goods! Future! Capitalism finally works!", while commies are telling them with slightly bored voices that not only it's still applicable to everything but the digital goods when pondered about just a little show the complete nonsense of capitalism even more than physical ones.

Being an utter ignoramus is sort of a prerequisite for being a liberal. Once a person learns a modicum of history, then it quickly becomes impossible to reconcile reality with liberal ideology.

Unless it's a curated anticommunist history. I knew a literal history professors in university who were fully reactionary.

Tbf, Marx was probably talking more along the lines of fiat money (before the great depression, the value of state currency was backed by things like gold and silver), as well as bonds and stocks. Money flows that are based on expectations/confidence instead of actual value in the now, basically.

Still got a point though because NFTs are like a new level of fictitious

No. It's actually not new. It's even older than Karl Marx himself. Speculation Bubbled really are old.

This was 200 years before Karl Marx

Speculation bubbles already were a thing loooong before NFTs or before the Manifest.

Central Bank currency is more akin than silly NFTs, though they will become worthless for similar reasons.

Honestly I do believe NFTs are, at their core, a good idea with positive use cases, but holy hell why.
