This is a general community for 40k miniatures, art, lore discussion, and gameplay discussion.

Rules

  1. Keep it civil.
  2. No memeposts/shitposts. Memes are great but direct them to grimdank.
  3. Please mark any posts containing realistic nudity or realistic excessive gore/violence as NSFW; this rule mainly applies to cosplay and realistic drawings rather than miniatures. Being that 40k is inherently violent, this is a judgement call, and mods may occasionally request posters add tags.
  4. No political or social cause agenda pushing.

I like his main armor color quite a bit. The chest piece metal is look a little spotty, not sure if you plan on doing more layers or anything to that though. What kind of metallic paint are you using?

Some very delicate orange and maybe even a dot of white (if you’re brave) in the eye piece goes a long way.

What kind of plans for the bases?

For sure the chest piece needs some love. I was using citadel metallics, but I picked up some valejo ones that I've heard good things about. Not sure where I'm going with the bases, I'll probably cut the models off and use some cork and such to give them more texture.
