great essay crit! I think you forgot to finish this little part tho?

In 2019, when Bolivian President Evo Morales announced he was going to nationalize the lithium industry, he was replaced by a military junta led by Janine Añez as the Organization of American States, a US-led ‘organization’, worked to invalidate his election (they recently walked back ...

Also, I wish you had a section that included that video from that CIA agent talking about how they make up fake stories about like cuba

Woops, thanks, I corrected it. I was looking for sources for both statement and I guess I never finished looking lol.

If you have the video I might be able to add it, but I also had to cut some stuff short because this thing was getting way too long lol

I just finished reading it. A lot of information for the length, and probably helpful for baby leftists. It would’ve been nice to have an explanation of why countries do imperialism, ie why growth is necessary, why the rate of profit tends to fall, but of course that might be a bit of an overload, considering the information density already.

I noticed a few factual errors, though. You falsely refer the the Mujahadeen as the Taliban twice. The mujahadeen is the group that split off into various groups like the Taliban and Al Qeada after extensive support from the west and the ISI. The Soviet casualties in WWII are lowballed to 20 m rather than a more accurate 27-29 m. It’s probably just nitpick-ey, and I understand why you would want a round number, but we all know the CIA tried to kill Castro more than 600 times. Finally, you put the impact of the embargo on Cuba at around 150 b, I’ve actually seen an estimate of 1 t (in the book Socialism or Extinction, I can look for the citation).

Thanks for taking the time to read it and your long comment 😀

The entire introduction is dedicated to explaining imperialism to people in a way that (I tried to) made sense to them. I didn't want to delve into the whole marxist terminology because I don't want to scare them off from reading a marxist article just yet lol. You're right that I didn't go into the TRPF though, I felt it was already long enough like that.

I'll have to check about the Mujahadeen, that article is so long and I wrote it in early December that I've forgot parts of it lol. Might have been I wasn't clear in the writing😵‍💫

Yeah, that’s understandable. Were the numbers just rounding down, then?
