Israel's Foreign Minister Eli Cohen called on Wednesday on countries who are interested in taking in refugees from the Gaza Strip to send his office an email, adding that they should not forget "to write the address of the country" in their email

Is it possible for Israel to push this too far for the US to keep backing them?

It's true that very few want to have the refugees. But it's weird to use that as a justification for their actions, especially since their actions right now are creating the refugee situation.
