The cross examination of the defense's real estate expert, which was expected to last at least two hours, ended abruptly after he appeared to contradict his own findings in the expert report he had compiled.
Fucking lawl.

Fucking lawl.
When you're being paid to lie but don't want to go to jail.
Is it a crime to submit an expert report that is wrong? Sounds like the libel version of perjury.
"I just called her a traitor to our country, put all of her personal information out there for the world to see, and said that something needs to be done. It's not my fault that my followers took me seriously." -- Trump's entire defense, paraphrased.
Hopefully, the judges don't buy this argument. In this day and age, I'm not nearly as confident about that as I used to be. Allowing this to stand essentially invalidates laws against witness intimidation and jury tampering, for starters; a ruling in Trump's favor would put the first amendment rights of the attacker above the safety of those being attacked, rendering those laws unenforceable.
If she had a real threat, she should get off the bench and stop having her photograph taken, but she hasn't done that
So stop upholding the law if people threaten your life? Gotcha.
“Your honor, if you were really threatened why are you still trying me? It’s like you’re asking for people to hurt you”
That one got me too, it was her the bully, blaming the victim.
"Just because I asked if anyone would 'rid me of this messlesome priest ' doesn't mean I was calling for that priest to be killed. I can't be held responsible for people who commit acts of violence after I call for acts of violence. FIRST AMENDMENT!"
Of course they do. That is how stochastic terrorism works.
