It's great when the gamers are coming from inside the house!
Some of these might be a little old for the kids yet, but we had a bunch of fun with:
- Spooky stairs - it's a dice rolling race, but eventually, every pawn is a white ghost and you have to keep track of yours. (Magnets keep the sheets on, it's quite clever)
- my first castle panic - castle panic, for kids.
- CoraQuest (this you'll want to wait a year or two) - think hero quest, but not legacy.
- Absolute zero jr - card based math game with addition and subtraction. (You want your hand to add up to zero)
- bugs in the kitchen - you roll a die to turn walls to guide the bug into your trap. The 'bug' is a nano bot, essentially a vibrating toothbrush head, that's hard to control. It might be too small a part for the 2 year old, you know your kid best.
Edit: Mine is seven now, so we're just getting into longer form games and they've been loving it. Attention span of about an hour, but we split up the games in half and revisit them when the wiggles attack. Some day: Spirit Island.
