He still refuses to budge, even after Republicans were eviscerated on election day for abortion. They're going to keep getting hit for it until they can rein in true believers like Tuberville.

Folks, it's important to remember that Tuberville isn't just being an ass about abortion. He's using that as cover. This is in preparation for Project 2025.

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2023/nov/07/tommy-tuberville-trump-military-holds

The Heritage Foundation – which has produced a blueprint for a Trump second term, the 2025 Transition Project, which includes firing the entire federal civil service and replacing it with Trump loyalists, and invoking the Insurrection Act on day one of Trump II to deploy the military against political dissidents – has evidently been behind Tuberville’s attack on the military. It circulated a letter of several far-right ex-military figures to Senate leaders demanding that they “Support Senator Tuberville’s Fight Against Woke Military”, which they denounced for “advancing the leftwing social agenda”.

Heritage published an article by one of its fellows claiming that Tuberville is the “one man” standing in the way of a dastardly conspiracy led by Biden: “Replacing the officer class of police and military ranks with politicized ideologues who will bend to a transformative dogma is a strategy that has worked in places like the Soviet Union, Cuba and Venezuela … Tuberville, thus, is stopping the promotion of woke apparatchiks.” Like Trump, the Heritage cadres project their own scheme on to their enemies.

[Emphasis mine]

@spaceghoti @assassin_aragorn really nerve-wracking that this has only picked up steam fairly recently. This is a big deal that every news outlet needs to be running a piece on. Dems need to weaponize this and use it in their ads against the GOP. This is a real, credible threat given The Heritage Foundation's track record. We can't fuck around with this.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if that was his real goal

We should all worry about Trump getting in and especially of that insurrection act because if inacts that then kiss democracy goodbye and we become a dictatorship under Trump.

They aren't fucking around they have planned this for 50 years and they about to put into action.

You watch Biden speak he is the weakness candidate to stand against Trump. Yeah he won last time but since he spent 4 years getting nowhere and the economy getting worse along with two wars he is supporting. Yeah Trump may just win and that scares me and should rest of the country.

Unfortunately a lot of country mostly Republicans support what he wants.

Economy getting worse? What the fuck are you talking about? We've been on an upswing since COVID and have been avoiding what many predicted would be a serious economic downturn. I certainly agree he isn't the strongest candidate to go against Trump, but let's not make up reasons why.

Making sure our Military is weakened to the point where we can't defend our Country is something PATRIOTS do!
