Why such a long spoon for tea?
Its so you don't get the sleeves of your robe into the tea.

Looks like a parfait / iced tea spoon. If I had to guess someone just thought it would look fancy or simply didn't care.

Strange question for you, do you get to choose anything from those plates or is all of that meant for you?
All of it is meant for you. You can let them know ahead of time about substitutions, though.

Give the west end brasserie a shot too if you're still in town. Literally across the street from the Johnnie Walker experience (the experience/tasting isn't worth the price in my opinion, but the bar is cool). Maybe my favorite city ever.
We left last Friday. But I plan on going back. It's an amazing city!
Me too. And add the botanical gardens to your list if they weren't already on it. It wasn't on mine initially but we spent half a day there and only left because we had reservations for the JW whiskey tasting.
