You can't tell me what to do! You're not my real mom!

For some reason I expected this to be a pun or a dad joke...

Yeah, clock app crashing is an interesting one... 🤔

If your device is on this list and you're technically-inclined, consider installing lineageOS.

My favorite is when it says my service is fine but it's fully disconnected and won't reconnect until I restart (Galaxy s22)

Do you mean cellular? If so what I've found works is if you go to sim manager and turn the sim off and back on

That makes sense, hopefully I remember to try that next time

it's the only thing that kept me sane after my phone randomly disconnected multiple times a day for 2 weeks

To extend to that, I really love how an upgrade from Android 13 to 14 completely broke Timely, a Clock-app made by a company that was bought by Google 🤣😭

Wait until the phone app on your phone crashes. It's been evident to me that phones in the future might not even have a phone app.

Is it though? They stuff more and more things into the clock app... Somehow nobody wants to maintain 'just an app that shows the time' it needs timers, stop watches, world time, weather and whatever is somehow related to time

[–] smeg@feddit.uk 1 points 1 year ago

Does the time not appear at the top of your screen anyway? Phones (and all computers) have a clock in then anyway, an app which only shows that is pretty redundant!
