I would actually use peertube if there was just an instance I could go to for leftist stuff and stuff from leftists

Here some leftist instances, uploading is allowed on some & disallowed on others, although you may be able to request an exception depending on your content, but their network can be helpful, another tip use Sepia as a Peertube indexers to find more.

Edit:
I need to put a pin on this for now.

Would be nice, but sounds too expensive. Maybe those YouTubers who do AMAs on hexbear could partner up and do something like that and leave their videos there as mirrors in case YouTube starts deleting them. Most instances have low MB upload quotas and Marxists are the "2 hour video" sort.

When there's someone who has the money to pay for it.

I'm interested in peertube, there didn't seem to be much of anything on there though. A lot of super christian preachy videos and an anti-vax video, is this an instance sort of problem?

Yep, each instance has different content depending on the creator

For instance, there is a communist instance, but they dont approve new accounts.

If they don't approve new accounts, is it no longer possible to get an account?

I requested one like two weeks ago and it is still under review. So, I doubt that they are approving anymore.
