Welcome to /c/SoftwareGore!

This is a community where you can poke fun at nasty software. This community is your go-to destination to look at the most cringe-worthy and facepalm-inducing moments of software gone wrong. Whether it's a user interface that defies all logic, a crash that leaves you in disbelief, silly bugs or glitches that make you go crazy, or an error message that feels like it was written by an unpaid intern, this is the place to see them all!

Remember to read the rules before you make a post or comment!

They must be attempting to integrate the rotation of the earth, the earth's orbit, and the sun's orbit around the galaxy.

[–] moody@lemmings.world 14 points 1 year ago

No, the rotation of the Earth is about 1600 km/h at the equator, which isn't enough, and its orbit is over 100,000km/h which is way too much. This is about Mach 4, which is pretty fast, but not quite planetary orbit speed.

How I feel walking on airport moving sidewalks

[–] Ashiette@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Might be caused by GPS time that was out of sync.

[–] bingbong@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 1 year ago

That's likely it, but it's far funnier to imagine that OP is the fastest man alive. I want to believe.
