This is oddly specific to daydream's I have where I'm in a small community of survivors but I'm the only guy who knows about computers but my job is to preserve the achievements of humanity on left over machines.

It's not that easy how they write. I couldn't find a single tutorial on how to create a computer from salvaged parts.

Please post it here if you find one.

And another thing is: How exactly will this be useful? I mean, which use cases can we cover if we would have such skills?

Yeah, it's definitely not easy. I can attest to that. In case you haven't seen it, http://collapseos.org/skills.html has some pointers for learning the needed skills, and http://collapseos.org/why.html mentions some scenarios where they'll be useful.

I once read it, but I still don't understand it or don't want to believe it, that it will be like that. Maybe I should read it again :/
