Remember that time Gul Dukat, after knowing kira for years, one day just randomly called her up to say he banged her mom?

That mother fucker...

Know how it is a joke that some people think the villain is the hero in a movie? Terrifying there might be a non-zero amount of people who think Gul Dukat was a good guy.

I've met this guy. He's horrible. He genuinely believed gul dukat was a truly good person who did the best he could with the situation. That the bajorans might not have been enslaved, but that gul dukat was clearly trying to be a, and I quote here, "good overseer."

Blew my freaking mind, and it legitimately ended a friendship when I realized this person believed "good slaveowner" was an actual, possible thing to be.

In fairness, I knew his politics sucked, but I had no idea how badly they sucked. "classical liberal"

God that sucks... I'm sorry you had to deal with that chucklefuck

He's claimed to have been inspired by Asimov's Foundation as well, which makes me think he probably idolizes Empire. I'm sure he's one of those guys that doesn't understand TV show characters can be bad people. I bet he thinks Rick from Rick and Morty is great. And that the Humans in Warhammer are good.

Empire was so well played, going from amicable to terrifying. Lee Pace makes that show!

There's a good chance of it. There's that right wing Nazi kind of star trek fan.

[–] eek2121@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

I mean, the empire was the true hero in Star Wars, so…

Could also be a sign, and bear with me here, that you're just a giant ass and everyone hates you.

'A true victory is to make your enemy see they were wrong to oppose you in the first place. To force them to acknowledge your greatness.' - Gul Dukat

Please be fair to Elon and acknowledge that he created this quote.
