We haven't been able to afford or had time to go to the beach in so long. It's nice to get away. It was 11:00 PM when I took this on my shitty phone, but it still looks good!

It is funny what getting away to somewhere different does to a person. I haven't been in the sand and surf in years but live close enough to hear the waves at night.

Wtf walk there right now you nutter

It is not the same when you live by it. I ride a bike up and down the coast often, and I have a hell of a view from my roof. The beach is quite rocky though.

Lmao I live in Florida, it's kinda a running joke that most people who live here never go to the beach

I think if I knew a wild Flordiaman was running loose on the beach, I'd think twice about visiting it as well.

Great, now I have this mental image of packs of Floridamen roving up & down Daytona Beach - harassing tourists and combing the sand for meth

So how was spring break 2023?

As someone who lives in Denmark, where you can't get more than 50 km from the sea, not being to the beach for 5 years just sounds so weird to me. I hope you enjoy it though :)

Enjoy. Great pic.

Thank you! Not bad for being nearly pitch black outside lol. My phone has a pretty decent low light camera.

I often fall so in rhythm with the routine of having a toddler (wake up, help get ready, go to work, come home, clean house, prepare dinner, put to bed, enjoy two hours of free time, sleep) that it's easy to forget there are roaring ocean beaches out there somewhere in the night. When it's not winter, I sometimes forget there are even stars outside. Remind me to move closer to a beach.
