Currently playing an evil dnd campaign where my little kobold's dream is to become a dragon.

So he is trying to imitate a red dragon by burning everything down.

He wants potion so bad.

Can a person with darkness in their hearts be said to be happy? What is a 'monster', anyway?

[–] TrismegistusMx@lemmy.world 16 points 1 year ago

I can confidently say that the person who recognizes, realizes and integrates the darkness in their heart is happier than anybody who believes they are entirely light. Consciousness is infinite. Any attributes you define as part of your self cast a shadow of "not self" that you will define as "other." There is no other, only one true infinite and undifferentiated consciousness cleaved by your will into as many pieces as you need in order to maintain your ego delusions.
