About 38. They don't know an exact number.

So, in other words the FBI must have had tons of specific information that this insurrection was going to happen ... Yet we had very little law enforcement there or on standby.

This is the part of Jan 6 that has not received nearly enough attention. Either law enforcement was grossly incompetent, or they were deliberately held back to allow the insurrection to succeed. In other words: a coup.

I have been to a bunch of protests and demonstrations in DC. Watching the news on Jan 6 blew my mind. I was like where the fuck are all the cops?? There was always a bigger police presence for the 4th of July "smokeouts", much less actual protests.

Plot twist: those were the cops.

If you ever been to a BLM protest, organizers frequently would flag undercover cops. There has always been instigators/troublemakers at any protest, and we always want to ensure that those who were would quickly get removed (even if the troublemaker was the undercover cop in general).

So to tell me Jan 6 went so far without any police presence?

Even allowing protestors to beat up cops? After the fucking show of force the Blue did to stand against BLM?

Absolutely! I have also seen agents provocateur at protests. The difference is that their job has always been to goad people into crimes so they can arrest them.

I’m in another country, in another hemisphere and I knew to expect the insurrection. It was being talked about on social media days before.

The insurrectionists made and wore T-shirts to the event

My MAGA friend called me up two days after the election and said, totally unprompted, "By the way, if you think there's going to be a coup, there's not."

I thought to myself, my god, there's going to be a coup.

We knew that day law enforcement was held back.

Yeah, NY Post is far from a credible source.
