This is painfully accurate… 😏

This is hilarious and depressingly true.

Shout-out to uBlock Origin which actually blocked everything.

lol really? when it is enabled it says it is blocking some things:

... but when i disable it i get what seems to be an identically annoying experience as with it enabled.

Hmm, maybe our rulesets are slightly different. I don't think I should have anything for this site specifically. But I got just "the article you want" until I disabled it then I get the cookie banner and stuff.

Interesting, for me it didn't block anything except three analytics scripts

Ublock Origin seem to actually block a lot of stuff. I tried to open this on Tor which is more vanilla setup, then I can actually get into this monstrosity

This is such a class post that even clicking on that link disgusted me, fully knowing that its a simulation.

Let's fix this with incremental reforms

Every time I want to read an article or even blog posts. So painfully true. πŸ™ƒ

I didn't see anything, I needed to turn off the uBlock Origin add-on to see what was that about. I even give them a random email generated to see what they do, and I didn't receive any email, neither.

For me, it's a nice experience if I didn't try to figure out what was happening and disabled the add-on.

EDIT: Didn't work for me because I have the add-on "I don't care about cookies" and seems it starts to show all those ads when you click to the cookie pop-up.
