So I know this one kid who recently told me he prefer socialism over capitalism. He seems to have a positive view of the Soviet Union and China and even Stalin. He wants the USSR back. He believes fascism and anarchism are cancer and stupid.

Overall, a lot of based views.

However, he believes that North Korea (and Venezuela) is/are like a fascist regime, and has even stated he would support the United States moving into North Korea. He has repeated Western propaganda about the country even though he seems to reject propaganda about the USSR and China.

Basically, he's a proto-tankie that still needs time to learn.

The main reason the DPRK is so hyper militarized is because of the genocidal war waged by the US and the continued occupation of the south.

and has even stated he would support the United States moving into North Korea

So he supports nuclear holocaust? It seems that he's not completely void of US chauvinism. I think a lecture on the Korean war would fix that quickly.

Should get him to listen to Blowback, their season on the Korean war is fairly comprehensive.

READ Patriots, traitors and empires by Stephen Gowans, it is a good introductory book for the korean war.

Does he know that the Korean War is still technically ongoing? The stuff that gets published in the west, especially the USA, is quite literally war propaganda.

You should ask him what his opinions are on McCarthyism
