Why would they? The new gen just came out. They have at least another year or two before they make any changes.

I expect that they’ll release new AirPods that come with a USB-C case, and also have the case itself for sale for those with Lightning cases that want to switch when they get an iPhone 15. Like how they did when they introduced wirelesss charging for the regular AirPods a while back.

Now part of me wants to wait for USB-C. The other part of me knows I have a lightning phone that I’ll be keeping for 3 more years. I feel like maybe lightning would be better until I get a USB-C phone.

Meh. I don’t even use the plug I just put them on my MagSafe charger now and then.

Same. Once a week or so I just pop it on the MagSafe to top it back up. Originally, I was waiting for USB-C but my regular AirPods were going out so I upgraded. Then I realized I never plug in the Pros, they charge so nicely wirelessly.
