Something similar was also done by a Spaniard, with a cart full of mobiles, not to hunt Pokemon, but with the result that Google Maps showed a traffic jam in the streets where he passed. This is trolling with elegance.

I think he could be at a gymnasium so he could be winning and losing against himself in order to level up a lot of accounts, or maybe there was an event for a rare pokémon and he could have it on different accounts and sell the account or pokémon or something.

Had to be making money somehow. 82 cell phones can't be cheap. And the data plans!

Doesn't necessarily need more than one data plan. Just set one phone as a hotspot and connect all the other ones via Wi-Fi.

I think more pokemons spawn, the more players are in the area.
