Yeah that doesn’t strike me as stupid as most other deities, at least cows, or animals / nature in general is a tangible and real, existing thing. Revering and appreciating that isn’t that weird in my opinion.
That’s when it’s about magical fables and shit
Worshipping cows is okay, but drinking cow urine and rubbing cow shit over you because magic faith powers in them will protect you from COVID is not.
Cows are cool
If you have ever witnessed a pissed off cow, you can see how someone might fear and worship them.
