I don't get it, are people actually using Kali to get their normal shit done? Isn't it some sort of pentester's liveCD or something? (not sure haven't used it since it was Backtrack),

Yeah no, Kali is for VM use only imo, I don't wanna put my hard drive into an industrial shredder.
Kali is for VM use only imo
Or as a live-boot on a flash drive. Definitely not a daily driver, regardless.
They even wrote on their HP don't run Kali on bare metal and daily driver. But explain this to Mr. Hackerman.
So, Blackarch then? /jk
I didn't know trogdor was a Linux distro
looking forward to more r/masterhacker content in the future
I use Kali ...why? I have no idea
Because you like pain
It is always that one dude...
Goddamn is this thread supplemental to my studies. I need to write down "Kali is to be used in a VM or booted from USB, not for use as daily driver" in my sec+ notebook.
Downvoted, who the hell recommend Kali as the first desktop. It is not even intended for desktop usage.
I think that's the joke. You'd suggest mint to a newbie.
OP is the right guy.
You didn't get the joke xD
I use BlackArch btw
I use Kali a fair bit but even still It's not a daily driver.
ZorinOS is the best distro for normies imo. Mint is too ugly and normies want stuff to look polished.
If you want freedom in computing use Trisquel GNU / Linux
who use Kali for their word processing? I use Gentoo btw
