Only a couple quick rules, I think most should be obvious anyway:

  1. Stay on topic - keep posts Dead related
  2. Keep disagreements civil
  3. No NSFW (pornographic) content
  4. No racist, sexist, bigoted or violent content
  5. No politics (unless something is directly related to the band or its members) or other deliberately divisive topics
  6. Above all else, be kind, ain't no time to hate

Went to a pretty well known dead bar (Melvin Seals & JGB play there a -lot-) and 2 hours into the show they kept clicking random stuff on nugs while running the PREVIEW - buy now - on YouTube and cutting to random different songs every 10 minutes or so.

Nobody would really say what was going on besides technical problems but from everything I saw, it seemed more to me like they were trying to pass it off to the less eagle-eyed as being the actual show, and literally just randomly clicking around on nugs to placate everyone else.

I haven't seen anything about there being issues with the stream, so, I'm thinking they just got a packed house with false advertising. People were leaving by the half dozen every 5 minutes and I'm kind of surprised there wasn't a riot, honestly.

So.... what do you think?

Yeah I dunno. The screen was pretty hard to see to begin with but it didn't seem to follow a pattern you would expect of like... log in > go to some kind of "purchased shows page" (I've never actually used nugs so I dunno exactly) > click on the show > get an error or anything like that. It was more like clicking around in the menu a handful of times and then just going back to youtube and loading up a different part of the same video. It was just super weird and janky.
