I don't see much in common between the way leftists use "CIA", rightists use "CIA", and liberals use "RUSSIAN SABOTEUR!"

The latter has replaced pinko. The second means Jews. The first means the actual CIA.

Nah. It's entirely fair and straight-to-the-point to tell people when they unwittingly reflect state department talking points.

Why shouldn't you? Because it hurts your feelings to discover you're eating dogshit, not chocolate? Who cares?

The other two are just fantasy.

because a talking point of some state department isn't inherently right or wrong, rather you should evaluate the point on its own merit
