I'm curious if this is a common thing. For me there are many such games. I hardly play games at all anymore, and when I do it's mostly singleplayer indie titles. Yet for some reason I can't stop myself from engaging with a lot of games I used to play.

CS:GO for example. I haven't played it for years and have no real intention of coming back, yet I still find myself watching youtube videos, following the patch notes and engaging in online discussions. And it's far from the only example for me.

Any weirdos out there that do the same?

I spend a lot of time thinking and talking about DnD, but the closest I get to playing is a Group chat where every week people post "Sorry, Can't this week".

Damn I felt that one lol. Trying to get multiple adults who all have full time jobs and kids schedules to line up is literally impossible. I have straight up given up on it

Check out Solasta. It's the closest a video game has come to giving me the D&D feels.
