Not significantly, and it any drops in inflation are driven by the recession. US is stuck between a rock and a hard place here because the only levers are to either print more money or to increase rates. Meanwhile, Ukraine is literally costing billions each and every month. On top of that, dollar based global economy has shrunk significantly, and China is dumping dollars now. The only reason US survived the crash in 2008 was because China decided to buy up US debt. Fat chance of that happening this time around.

Meanwhile, 64% of the people are already living paycheck to paycheck. This means they're simply unable to absorb any further increases in the cost of living which continues to climb. This means we'll be seeing many people defaulting on their debt in the near future. The rest will be tightening their belts and focusing their spending on necessities. Which means the whole economy cools further and companies go out of business. We're already seeing this starting to happen.

Tech sector in particular is a very precarious position because most startups run on finance capital. With high interest rates and inflation it makes no sense for investors to keep pumping money into these startups because they have to show incredible amounts of growth just to make the investment back.

I’m not talking about elections. If you’re making grand proclamations about inevitable collapse in support, you need to have that. You’re just making claims without a speck of evidence. The evidence shows the opposite. There has been no movement in the polls.

The evidence is literally in your link. Nearly 40% of the people are rejecting the war already, that's a huge increase over the year. As it becomes more and more obvious that US is losing while people see the astronomical costs the support will continue to collapse. Again, go read up on Vietnam and how that proxy war worked out. Ukraine is following the exact same pattern.

It's actually an excellent comparison. US backed the regime in the south, trained and armed it. Then it started sending weapons to it, and eventually put buts on the ground. US was forced to pull out from the war because it crash US economy and led to the dollar becoming a fiat currency.

Especially in the opening of the war, we saw war crimes committed by Russian troops against Ukrainian civilians.

You are trying to cast the US in the role of the US in this comparison, but instead Russia is the brutal invader.

Of course there is, the reason is that US wants to us Ukraine as a battering ram against Russia as this RAND report very clearly explains. This isn't some secret, US officials have said this openly and repeatedly. US is not defending Ukraine, it's using the population of Ukraine as cannon fodder.

Taiwan is part of China. This is a well documented fact, and Taiwan's legal standing is not in question. This is the position held by the UN, and it's the fundamental basis for having diplomatic relations between US and China per Potsdam Proclamation that was signed 77 years ago between China, the US & the UK. This position has never officially changed. Here is literally what's written on US state department website:

The United States approach to Taiwan has remained consistent across decades and administrations. The United States has a longstanding one China policy, which is guided by the Taiwan Relations Act, the three U.S.-China Joint Communiques, and the Six Assurances. If you keep repeating a falsehood over and over it isn't magically going to become true.

I suspect the beginning of an invasion would trigger a call to from the US president making that clear.

US has no business messing inside China, and if US doesn't figure this out soon we're going to have a world war that can easily escalate into a nuclear holocaust.
