I'm pretty sure the irony and ridiculousness is the entire joke 😅 if it just said something in Japanese that wouldn't be a joke. If it just said something in English that also wouldn't be a joke

The joke is that they wrote total gobbledygook in Japanese by using a ridiculous "Asian look" font, and if you read what the characters actually say it's hilariously nonsensical.

I don't think you can enjoy the image without being aware. Its not enjoyable otherwise 😅
