It was really difficult for me to create this meme, because i don't really like dogs normally. but this one just seemed perfect here.

I think it's a joke. Instead of "The God Particle", it's "the dog particle".

You've led me astray! Haha, no worries. I probably should have figured that but I try not to assume that new information is false just because I haven't heard it before. The post as a whole primed me to think there was some missing piece of info I hadn't heard before.

Don't assume either way. You did the right thing by asking for proof. If someone gives you proof go from there and if someone can't... Well... Speaks for itself :)
