I mean, at least it’s not some stupid vaguery that armchair dullards will argue in circles forever about word meanings and minor technicalities that have nothing to do with AI and everything to do with their own malformed views of reality and humans behavior.

They're called "programmers". They think it makes them sound smart.

I was just bitterly celebrating that at least this dumb money based definition doesn't give people more shit to argue over.

I'm real tired of the armchair philosophy 101 shit people keep spouting. "But what really is intelligence? How do you know humans aren't just stochastic parrots? If you redefine words to mean different things and oversimplify everything, there's no difference between a human and an LLM. You're just too stupid to see the truth while I am very very smart."

Programmers don't have a say in any of these shenanigans. Specially marketing definitions or business buzz words like what they just made here.
