A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

Rules

  1. All posts must be showerthoughts
  2. The entire showerthought must be in the title
  3. Avoid politics
    • 3.1) NEW RULE as of 5 Nov 2024, trying it out
    • 3.2) Political posts often end up being circle jerks (not offering unique perspective) or enflaming (too much work for mods).
    • 3.3) Try c/politicaldiscussion, volunteer as a mod here, or start your own community.

I can wear a dress to work and nobody criticizes me. I’d be really sad if I had to wear pants all the time, they’re just not as comfortable. Let’s normalize pretty dresses for dudes!

I've got some nicer looking golf type pants that work really well in the heat. IT's been over 90 for months already, and i'm in Canada where we're not used to this being here for so long. I'm pretty much dri fit from head to toe when it's over 23c now and it's at least as light and flowy as a dress haha.

Absolutely. Dri fit polos and golf pants. Everyday for work and it's super comfortable. Don't even need to spend a ton on the pants either. Mine are $20 a pair.

Ya, I think mine were around there on sale. I grabbed a second pair a week later that I remember being grumpy about the sale ending but still feeling it was well worth the money so they couldn't have been more than $40/50.
